This morning, we held the Remembrance Ceremony Hosted by the Class of 1976 in War Memorial Chapel as part of alumni weekend. We greatly appreciate that Dee Dodson Morris '76, Col. Doug Anderson '76, retired, and Lt. Col Joe McAlarnen '01 spoke and recognized our fallen alumni as part of the ceremony. Many thanks to Chuck Rowell for playing Taps at the ceremony.

What a phenomenal turnout at our D-Day exhibit for alumni weekend! Brig. Gen. Alia and Museum Director Ellie Smith gave an overview of the exhibit before our guests toured the museum.

We love connecting with Corps and VT alumni at our VT Alumni Weekend events! Yesterday we hosted a state of the Corps event with Brig. Gen. Alia and then hosted tours of upper quad. Last night, we had a great time at the Cornerstone Alumni and 50th Reunion Induction Banquet. We had an opportunity to present the Old Guard certificate and pins to four of our Class of '76 alumni at the dinner. We had a fantastic time at our VTCC Golf Tournament hosted by the Highty-Tighties! It was a great time for everyone. Many thanks to Chuck Rowell for his help promoting this event and organizing the teams. And, a huge shout out to the VT Bookstore for providing branded prizes for the winners!

Today, we pause to remember those who gave their lives in service to our nation. Their names are etched in history. Their sacrifice endures.

We honor them and the legacy they leave behind.
