Joseph F. Ware Jr. Advanced Engineering Laboratory “Hands-On, Minds-On” Headquarters in the College of Engineering at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and Sate University (Virginia Tech) and Mrs. Joseph F. Ware, Jr.

Welcome to the official page for the Ware Lab at Virginia Tech! Created in 1998 with a generous donation from Mr. the Ware Lab quickly became one of the most hands-on engineering facilities on the Virginia Tech campus. At the lab undergraduates become a part of the many diverse projects available to invent new ideas, compete in top-level competitions, and to join a community of engineers

dedicated to expanding their education beyond the classroom. The Ware Lab invites you to browse our photo and video galleries to learn more about our 12 current projects and the over 420 brilliant students behind them.
