LASO Latino Association of Student Organizations

As the spring semester comes to an end, we wanted to say hello to new 2026-2027 EXECUTIVE BOARD‼️‼️ With both new and familiar faces on this new board , we will continue to provide for, and celebrate our Latin community here at Virginia Tech 🙌 We are so glad to have everybody on board, and can’t wait to get to work!

We wish we never had to say goodbye 💔 We want to give a huge thank you to our 2025-2026 board for all the hard work and dedication they have put into making this organization as wonderful as it is ❤️ Another thank you to everyone en la comunidad, who has allowed LASO to be a voice for many. We hope to only better and strengthen the relationships we have. We will miss our graduating seniors very much 🥺 but we know you will do great things in your futures 🫶 Thank you as well to our lasitos this year we loved getting to know all of you and getting the chance to mentor you all the best we can 😇 We wish the best to our next eboard we know you will do better things for this community. Can’t wait to see whats in store for next year!!

We loved getting to listen to our keynote speakers from our constituent organizations 🎤 🗣️ enjoyed some good food, and made some more memories as we recognized our graduating seniors. We are thankful for all they’ve contributed and wish them the very best in their next chapter! 🫶❤️

Join us for 🏐🏆LASOs 4th annual volleyball tournament 🏆🏐!This year, we will also be having the pleasure of collaborating with 💚 in raising funds for Sin Barreras, a nonprofit dedicated to helping immigrants within the Charlottesville region 🫂—advocating for their needs and helping them gain access to education. If you are interested in giving back or just looking to have a good time, make sure to sign up ON OUR LINKTREE ‼️ We will be accepting both teams and individuals till the day of the event as well as offering same day registration. They say 1st place might even get a surprise gift basket! 🤫🤗🤭
