NAEYC is deeply concerned about House passage of the Stop Child Care Scams Act, which could create new administrative burdens, jeopardize funding, and make it harder for families to access the child care they need.

As this legislation moves to the Senate, we urge policymakers to prioritize investments that expand access to high-quality child care.

Montgomery County children will have access to several summer nutrition programs this summer, including free onsite meals, SUN Meal Kits, and additional food assistance opportunities through Feeding Southwest Virginia. 🍎

Free meals for children 18 years old and younger will be available at select MCPS locations throughout June, July, and early August. SUN Meal Kits with seven breakfasts and seven lunches will also be available weekly for pickup.
