Meet our Mentor of the Week: David Petrulis ๐ŸŒŸ

David is a junior in Industrial and Systems Engineering.

Favorite part of the program: โ€œSeeing the impact of the program on freshman engineers. Being able to serve as a mentor for these students is such a gift, and our presence in their lives, no matter how big or small, has the potential to change their lives for the better as they continue their journey here at Tech. Seeing them grow and change throughout the program is truly a wonderful thing to witness!โ€

Advice for freshmen: โ€œRemember to stay present as we navigate through our college experience. Although it is important to think about the future, it is equally important to be present and fully take in the experiences and feelings that we are currently living through. Remember to take a deep breath and remember how great it is to be here at Virginia Tech with the friends we have and the memories we make. :)โ€

Thank your for your positivity and hard work, David! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
