As the week begins to come to a close, let’s reflect on what the class of ‘30 has accomplished.

This week the New Cadets have begun their rigorous journey as members of the VTCC and eventually leaders of this nation. ‘30 have learned rifle drill, stationary drill, marching, and have all completed the obstacle course and successfully rappelled off the 40’ tower. New Cadets attended Weeks of Welcome briefs, met with their respective ROTCs, and joined the student body in College Orientation. This week has build their confidence and knowledge necessary for this program.

Today Class of ‘30 completed the Forge Week PT Test! The test comprises of push-ups, a plank, and a 1.5 mile run. The purpose is to give the New Cadets and Cadre a gauge on their PT abilities to be able to compare future PT tests and improvement.
