Congratulations to Chloe Ebert and Maggie Kidd, the winners of this year's Williams Prize. The prize honors faculty member William H. Williams (1934–1994), who taught in the department from 1964 until his early retirement in 1994. It is awarded to undergraduate philosophy majors who distinguish themselves through their love of philosophy and their commitment to doing philosophy well, both in written work and in discussion.
Congratulations, Maggie and Chloe! And congratulations to all of our graduating seniors!

Tomorrow (Wednesday, April 22nd), VT philosopher Phil Yaure will be speaking on the PPE Research Fellows panel along with Sergio Barrera and Brianna Felegi. Dr. Yaure will be discussing his work on solidarity. The event will be held from 4pm to 5:30pm in the Fralin Hall Auditorium.
