HUGE SHOUTOUT !! When I had a vision of painting at the Middle School, I may have bitten off more than I should have. After calling for advice, I not only got advice, but help. DUSTIN and KYSTON SECRIST with BLACK LABEL PAINTING saved the day. They spent several nights after their normal day painting at the school. They sprayed the old green sisal walls an amazing grey. It has made such an amazing difference and brought my vision to fruition. The halls are brighter, and it changes the whole vibe of the school. Dustin's younger kids even came in and helped pull off all the paper when it was done. Dustin and his family are HUGE supporters of so many district events and activities that their children participate in. I want him to know I couldn't have done it without his help. SO -THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!! I also want to thank the staff and teachers that stayed late several nights taping off the walls. It takes a village and I am proud of our team always stepping in and helping. If you have had the opportunity to see the new paint make sure when you see Dustin to tell him how great it looks. Mrs. Hale - Principal, Snake River Middle School

September 15th was International Dot Day. To celebrate Mrs. Hale read the picture book "The Dot" by Peter Reynolds to both grades during their lunch. She challenged them to "Be brave and make your mark, and see where it takes you!" All of the students were given a paper plate to participate in an optional activity to decorate however they would like. We were amazed at how many amazing and creative "dots" were brought to the office. One of the main morals of the story is that "encouragement from others can help someone believe in themselves, but ultimately believing it your own abilities is the key." The dots have been put up for all of the students to see how creative their classmates are.
