Thank you to Blackfoot Fire Department and Blackfoot Police Department for coming and eating with the kids today at BHSG. We had a really good turnout and the kids love taking pictures and getting stickers from them.

We have had a really good turnout with the Grab and Go Meals. Here are the schools you can get a Grab and Go Lunch. Groveland Elementary, Donald D. Stalker Elementary, and Riverbend Elementary.
Lunch is free for children 1-18 and Adults may purchase one for $5.00. Extra milk is $.55.
Serving times are 11:00-12:00 Monday-Thursday.

If you need help with signing up, please contact us at the District Office at 208-785-8861. Each of the Grab and Go schools has the QR code so you can sign up there as well.

Just to clarify and an understanding about the Grab and Go meals.
We don’t ever turn away a child to eat.

If a parent did not sign up to pick up their child lunch, that child may pick up their own. (With the parent/guardian approval to go to that school). They cannot pick up one for a friend, sibling, or cousin.

We understand that this is something new, and it is for us as well. We are trying our best to make sure that the kids are being fed this summer.

Attention to parent/guardians who are doing the Grab and Go option for Summer Lunches:

As per State Guidelines, the Grab and Go only, a parent or guardian needs to be there to pick up meals.

You are more than welcome to go to BHSG and sit and eat in the cafeteria.

You will need to sign up each week to receive meals.

We are hiring for a Kitchen Manager at Wapello Elementary School.
If you are interested, please fill out an application. Blackfoot School District #55 website has one you can print off or come to the District Office to pick one up.

SUN MEALS will be June 8-25 this year.
We are doing a Grab and Go at these schools: Groveland Elementary, Donald D. Stalker Elementary, and Riverbend Elementary. Your child does not need to stay at that school to eat.
Blackfoot Heritage Sixth Grade will have a sit and eat only.
Lunch is served from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM.
Children 1-18 are free, Adults $5.00 extra milk is $.55.
