We are so proud of every student who stepped out of their comfort zone and shared their talents with our school community. It takes courage to get up in front of a crowd, and they truly shined today! ✨
A huge thank you to our staff, families, and everyone who helped make this event possible. Most importantly, thank you to our talented students for reminding us just how much creativity and heart we have here at Blackfoot Charter! ❤️🎭👏

Our students recently had the opportunity to take part in a fun and meaningful presentation in honor of America’s 250th Birthday! A big thank you to Mrs. Loeffler for helping coordinate this special experience for our school.
We were lucky to welcome two presenters from the Daughters of the American Revolution, who brought history to life in an engaging and interactive way. Students learned about the brave individuals who signed the Declaration of Independence, along with other influential men and women who played key roles during the American Revolution.
Students also enjoyed a special video, “Forever Idaho,” highlighting beautiful locations across our great state and celebrating Idaho’s connection to this historic milestone.
One of the highlights of the day was welcoming the Spuddy Buddy characters SPUD Oliver Ellsworth and SPUD Revere, who added a fun and memorable touch while representing figures from the Revolutionary era. Students even received collectible cards and Jr. Ambassador pins to continue their learning beyond the classroom!
To wrap up the experience, each student had the chance to sign a commemorative scroll that will be displayed this summer in the Idaho State Capitol Rotunda beneath a replica of the Declaration of Independence—what an incredible way to be part of history!

Our 1st graders have been hard at work diving into the plant life cycle! 🌱
They’ve been learning all about what plants need to grow—and what can prevent them from thriving. Through hands-on experiences, students have explored these concepts in a fun and meaningful way.
To bring their learning to life, our young learners even created their own plants to sell! 🌼 We are so proud of their hard work, creativity, and growing knowledge.
Way to grow, 1st grade! 🌿
