Our 5th grade War Ponies were welcomed to class on Thursday with all-new furniture! 🪑📚
This upgrade was made possible thanks to the incredibly generous community members who stepped up after last year’s Inaugural War Pony Derby fundraiser. Your support is making a real difference in our classrooms—and our students couldn’t be more grateful for their comfortable new desks!

May 28, 29, and June 1st: BME EOG Proctor Support:
Proctor Support during EOG Testing. All volunteers will need to be certified prior (10-15 minutes). Please contact the BME Front Office once you have signed up.

This morning our schools joined the Land of Sky Safe Routes to School to celebrate
! We had a community ride from Town of Montreat to both the primary and elementary schools. 30 students and their families showed up for a great event and we beat the much needed rain. Thank you everyone who came out and joined!! Also - big important THANK YOU to the Black Mountain Police Department , Montreat police department, Land of Sky Safe Routes to School, Dynamite Roasting Company coffee, and Bird Bakery! And also thank you to Rey Castillo Jr. for capturing the morning!
