What a GREAT night at CMS! 🥳

Our Open House & Meet the Teacher Night was the perfect way to kick off a new school year! Welcoming our new and returning families into the Golden Eagle community! 💜

It was so exciting to see familiar faces, meet new ones, reconnect with our amazing staff, and welcome all of our teachers and team members back to CMS. The halls were full of smiles, conversations, excitement, and that special feeling that comes with being part of the Golden Eagle family. 🦅✨

The Hazelwood School District's Back 2 School Fair is happening THIS Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 10am to noon!

Visit the high school in your corridor for an exciting day featuring community resources, live performances, local vendors, and opportunities to reconnect with familiar faces. Plus, FREE backpacks will be available while supplies last on a first-come, first-served basis.

A big thank you to our community partners for their generous support in providing backpacks and school supplies for our students.

Election day is 5 days away! Missouri PTA encourages everyone to vote in the August 4 election. Amendment 5 threatens the $1.4 billion in state public education money that school districts across the state rely on.

The impact for districts is significant for districts like North Kansas City, Independence, Columbia, Lee's Summit, and Wentzville.
