It's 4-H National Week! Join Gilpin Archwood 4-H Club *this Sunday,* October 11, from 4-6pm for their annual open house!

Are you interested in 4-H but not sure where to start? This Sunday's Open House is for you!

Youth ages 8 to 18 years old (and their adult guests) are invited to meet current members and leadership, learn about potential projects, and explore all that 4-H has to offer.

Dinner will be provided. We hope to see you there!

Our Master Gardener Bulb Sale & Fundraiser is TODAY, SUNDAY, October 4!

We have irises, snowdrops, and three varieties of daffodils available - all fresh from Holland. We'll also have wildflower and grass seed, including locally harvested native wildflower seed collected by one of our Master Gardeners.

Wildflower seeds include: blue columbine, arrowleaf balsamroot, poppies, coneflower, beeplant, firewheel, penstemon, blue flax, milkweed, beebalm, iris, Jacob's ladder, black-eyed Susan, primrose, cutleaf, and sulfurflower buckwheat.

We hope to see you there!

🚧Anyone planning to visit our office should note the construction on SH 46 (Golden Gate Canyon) starting TOMORROW, Tuesday, September 1, and continuing through the end of October. We're still open and hope that you'll visit, but please know that it might take a few extra minutes to get here!

🚧 CO 46 RESURFACING BEGINS SEPT. 1

CDOT and contractor Martin Marietta will begin resurfacing CO 46 on Tuesday, Sept. 1. The project runs from the CO 119 junction through Golden Gate Canyon State Park to the Jefferson County line and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.

During construction, travelers should expect:
• Single-lane closures and traffic holds of up to 10 minutes
• Temporary access disruptions to driveways, businesses and side streets, especially during the first few weeks
• A 10-foot width restriction
• Shorter lane closures during fall foliage season (Sept. 15–Oct. 31)

Access to Blue Grouse Trail and Beaver Trail will be maintained.
