🍂 What a wonderful day at the pumpkin patch! 🍂

Last Friday, our Pre-K through 5th grade students enjoyed a beautiful fall day at the pumpkin patch! With over 125 children joining us, there was plenty of laughter, smiles, and memories being made. The weather and crowd couldn’t have been more perfect!

We loved spending the day with our students and families and enjoying all the fun that fall has to offer. And, of course, what’s a pumpkin patch trip without a little surprise? 🐍 It definitely gave us a laugh when a snake was spotted during the group picture! It made for a memorable moment.

Thank you to all of our STA families who came out and made the day so special. We are so thankful for the opportunity to make these memories together! 🧡

Why do we invest in professional development?

Because at South Tulsa Academy, we believe that what we believe about God shapes everything we believe about education.

Because we believe all truth belongs to God, our Biblical worldview shapes not only what we teach, but how and why we teach it.

We believe education is about more than academics. We have the privilege of helping students develop knowledge, skills, character, and a Biblical understanding of the world around them—all while partnering with parents in the education of their children. That’s why we take time to prepare our team well.

As we prepare for our upcoming Academic Team Meeting, our academic team participated in professional development focused on parent and co-teacher relationships. In a University-Model® school, the partnership between parents and teachers is foundational. We want to communicate clearly, serve families well, and work together toward the academic and spiritual growth of each student.

At the same time, our operations team and inter-curricular teachers completed CPR and choking-response training. Because caring for our students well means being prepared to serve them in every circumstance—not just in the classroom.

Two different areas of training. One shared WHY.

We have been entrusted with the education and care of children made in the image of God.

So we prepare.
We grow.
We pursue excellence.
And we seek to faithfully steward the responsibility God has given us.

Excellence in Education. Family. Community. Faith. 🤍💙💛
