Bixby Fine Arts

10/09/2026

It is with deep sadness that Bixby Fine Arts shares the passing of Mrs. Kaye Cole, 80, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, on September 29, 2026.

Mrs. Cole served for many years as the piano accompanist for the Bixby Vocal Music Department during Connie Coleman’s tenure. A beloved member of the Bixby Fine Arts family, she touched countless lives through her musicianship, kindness, and dedication.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family and friends.

Thank you, Mrs. Cole, for your many years of service and for helping shape generations of Bixby musicians.

Thank you not only to this team, but also to the dozens of Bixby Band Boosters working behind the scenes every day—staffing concessions, managing uniforms, supporting public relations, chaperoning, feeding the band, building props, driving trucks and semis, fundraising, and so much more.

These volunteers rarely stand in the spotlight, but their work helps ensure that the Pride of Bixby shines every time they take the field.

Hi, I’m John Morgan and along with my wife Sarah, Katherine Fondren and Chico Martinez we are the team who brought you the Pride of Bixby’s new trailer. We’re very proud of how it turned out and are excited that it will be on the road as we head into competition season! While the trailer has been delivered and we have worked hard at raising funds for this trailer we still have a need for your support!

Please consider clicking the link and making a donation to help us get this new trailer fully paid for as soon as we can. Thank you! https://bit.ly/KeepBixbyBandsRolling
