💛 Wee Folk Families — Supporting One of Our Own 💛

We’re reaching out to our amazing Wee Folk families to ask for a little extra love, support, and prayers for Ally and her family.

Ally is a very special part of our Wee Folk family and, most importantly, a wonderful mom to her two little girls, Amelia and Elaena, who are her entire world.

Over the past several days, Ally has experienced a sudden and very serious medical emergency. She is currently receiving care in the ICU while her medical team continues working to find answers and determine the best path forward.

As you can imagine, this has been an incredibly difficult and uncertain time for Ally and those who love her.

A GoFundMe has been created to help ease some of the financial stress her family may face during her hospitalization and recovery. If you are able and would like to help, any amount is deeply appreciated. Sharing the fundraiser or simply keeping Ally and her family in your thoughts and prayers is also a wonderful way to show your support.

🌊🐠 Ocean Week in Our Toddler Rooms! 🐙🐚

This week, our toddlers dove into an exciting underwater adventure! We explored ocean animals through hands-on sensory play, creative art projects, stories, songs, and plenty of imaginative fun. From colorful fish to friendly sea turtles, our little learners practiced fine motor skills, language development, and social skills while discovering the amazing world beneath the waves.

We loved watching their curiosity grow as they splashed into learning all week long! 💙🌊

🌟 Wee Folk Staff Spotlight: Meet Amy Nicolai! 🌟

This week we’re celebrating Amy Nicolai, one of our wonderful Float Teachers! Amy has been part of the Wee Folk family for 2 years and brings 18 years of experience in education and childcare.

Amy discovered her passion for teaching while taking an introductory education class at the University of Mary, and she’s been making a difference ever since. She especially loves working with infants and young toddlers, finding joy in every smile, giggle, and milestone they reach.

Her goal is for every child to feel safe, seen, and loved, and one of her favorite parts of Wee Folk is being part of a locally owned childcare center that truly values its people.

Amy’s advice to families says it best:
“The days are long, but the years are short. Don’t take anything for granted—even the tantrums.” 💜

🌊🐠 Ocean Week at Wee Folk Childcare was a Splashing Success! 🐙🦀

Our Wee Folk friends had an amazing time exploring the wonders of the ocean! Throughout the week, the children enjoyed ocean-themed crafts, sensory play, exciting activities, stories, music, and hands-on learning that brought the underwater world to life. From colorful sea creatures to imaginative adventures, every day was filled with smiles, laughter, and learning.

Thank you to our wonderful teachers and families for helping make Ocean Week such a fun and memorable experience. We can’t wait for our next adventure! 💙🌊
