🏈⚽ Sanford Health will be hosting their annual Sports Physical for BHS and WMS students by appointment Tuesday, June 2nd at Bismarck High School. Students starting in 7th grade and up are required to have a sports physical to participate in sports. The sports physical will allow them to participate in multiple sports for the full school year. Call and make your appointment. 🏀🎾

Our WMS AVID students went on a goose chase around the neighborhood today, putting their inquiry, collaboration, and organization skills to the test! Students had to strategically plan their routes, navigate the area, and work together in a limited amount of time to earn points.
We are so proud of how our AVID students represented WMS while interacting with members of our community. Their teamwork, communication, and positive attitudes were on full display!
AVID knows how to bring the fun to learning while building real-world skills along the way!

🎉Student Council had the pleasure of awarding the May “Teacher of the Month” Award to Mrs. Fliginger! Students shared that Mrs. Fliginger:
> Uses games and activities to practice math lessons
> Always has a lot of energy and excitement when teaching 🤸
> She slows down and reviews topics if students don’t understand
> Jokes around with students 🤣
> Has a big heart and is kind and caring to everyone around her
> Is always standing in the hall between classes
> Has fun shoes! 🥾🩴👟👠

Mrs. Messner's Earth Science students wrapped up learning about volcanoes by creating paper mache models. The hands on project helped bring Earth's processes to life and showcased their creativity.
