When students are having so much fun they don’t even realize they’re learning, it’s a great day in AVID! Check out the awesome Tutorial Ozobot Tracks AVID 8 created to help AVID 7 learn about tutorials! I had one 7th grade AVID Scholar who asked to take paper home to create his own in-depth example! Going above and beyond - that is how we do it in AVID!

Last week we reviewed the Focused Note Taking Process! We activated our learning with a 100% or nothing quiz. AVID 7 dug into the information and then engaged in a "Battle of the Phases!" 7th graders are good at arguing! AVID 8 spent time focusing on applying their FNT Skills by writing class notes into Focused Notes. They did such an amazing job. I hope you enjoy these exemplars as much as I do!

We have started the process of learning about Tutorials! This is new learning for AVID 7. AVID 8 are experts and will help our 7th graders learn! We started today with an ABC Brainstorm and a Snowball fight to activate our learning while moving and having fun! AVID 8 is building Tutorial Tracks to help the 7th graders learn!
