If you have been thinking about submitting a presentation for EPIC 2027, this is your reminder... the Call for Presenters closes Friday, August 21.

We are looking for industry professionals who have something practical to share: a project that worked, a challenge you faced, a lesson learned, or an idea that could help others in the energy industry.

EPIC is about sharing what is actually happening in power generation and learning from the people doing the work. If you have a topic you have been meaning to share, now is the time to get it submitted! From operations to safety, professional development, and even emerging technology, the subject areas are diverse.

Hey, have you met our chairman for 2027? Ryan is a seasoned project leader and structural engineer with over 20 years of experience in the energy industry. He has a proven track record of developing and leading complex projects for clients in power production, power distribution, manufacturing, mining, petrochemicals, water treatment, fuels, and other heavy industrial sectors. Currently, Ryan's focus lies at the intersection of his industrial expertise and the evolving energy landscape. He is passionate about driving innovation and exploring transformative technologies to address our ever-changing energy needs.

Ryan made EPIC conference history as the first Committee Chair to emerge from the Vendor Sub-Committee. Since joining the board during the 2022 conference planning process, he has been an engaged leader, dedicated contributor, and strong advocate for conference success.

The Energy Progress & Innovation Conference (EPIC) is seeking presenters for our 2027 conference. Share your expertise, innovative ideas, and industry insights with energy professionals from across the region.

Conference Dates:
January 26-28, 2027
Bismarck Event Center, Bismarck, ND

Presenter Proposals Accepted:
May 1 - July 31, 2026

Whether your topic focuses on power generation, transmission, distribution, emerging technologies, operations, workforce development, safety, or industry innovation, we encourage you to submit a proposal.

The EPIC planning committee was able to give two deserving companies Excellence Awards at the 2026 conference. Rainbow Energy Center recieved the Excellence in Innovation award, and Minnkota Power Cooperative recieved the Excellence in Safety award. Congratulations to both companies on your hard work being recognized!
