REMINDER— CLASS of 2030 FRESHMEN ORIENTATION coming up this Monday, August 10.

**Students should come prepared with their schedules in hand**

🍦🥤 6:15 - 7:00 pm | Social and Chromebook distribution. CHS incoming freshmen will get a FREE ice cream or dirty soda treat on us! All other guests can enjoy an item for purchase during the event. Tickets for free item handed out with Chromebook.

💻 7:00 pm | Welcome Message from Mr. Madler, CHS Principal, followed by a parent presentation in the Olson Gymnasium.

👩🏻‍🏫📍7:15 pm | Student presentation in auditorium, small group Q & A in advisory classrooms, small group advisory tours— meet staff/advisors and walk your schedule to get ready for day 1.

💙❤️Our school store will be open to purchase Chromebook screen protectors and PATRIOT merchandise— gear up!

📢 Important Update: Student Information System Transition

Bismarck Public Schools is participating in a statewide initiative led by the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction to transition from PowerSchool to Infinite Campus for the 2026-27 school year.

🔄 What’s Changing
PowerSchool will be retired after June 30 and replaced with Infinite Campus. Information about accessing the Infinite Campus Parent Portal will be shared later this summer.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 For Parents & Guardians
Elementary classroom assignments and middle/high school schedules will be available through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal by August 7. Schools may share schedules earlier through other means, and additional information will be provided by individual schools.

📅 Important Dates
📌 June 30 – PowerSchool and DocumentLOK access ends. Families are encouraged to download any documents they wish to keep before that date. To access DocumentLOK records after June 30, families will need to work with their school.

🚌 August 3 – Families who registered for transportation by May 15 will receive bus route information through the Stopfinder app and email.
📚 August 7 – Classroom assignments and schedules will be available through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

Some district communication systems may experience temporary interruptions between July 1 and August 7 as we complete this transition. New student registrations, address changes, and transfer requests should be submitted to [email protected] until further notice.

• Bismarck High School (BHS) – 4:00 PM
• Legacy High School (LHS) – 7:00 PM
