The University of Mary Wrestling program is a NCAA Division II university that is a member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC). The UMary Wrestling program started in the fall of 1987 during the NAIA era of UMary Athletics. UMary transitioned to a NCAA DII institution and became eligible for post season competition in the 2008 season, where UMary had it's first NCAA DII All-American.
