Camp Ed was enjoying some time outside last week as busy little bees...Can you guess what's on the horizon for the new school year?! 🐾🤩🐾

It's a beautiful day to enjoy NEW basketball hoops! Thanks to local grant fund opportunities through Bismarck Parks and Rec and Bismarck Optimist Club our playground hoops have received a significant upgrade!!! Our Solheim CampEd students are working on their jump shot during recess 💙

Thank you to the very special men from the National Honor Guard who have been coming to Solheim for many many years helping us honor the start of each school year with our flag raising ceremony as well as returning to help us close out the school year. We appreciate you 🇺🇸

Yesterday, we had our very last assembly of the school year. While we are SO excited for summer, there’s also a little sadness knowing how much we’ll miss seeing these amazing students every day.

We celebrated our retiree's, Mrs. Bachmeier and Mrs. Hawks as well as those that are moving onto other roles within BPS. Congratulations Mrs. Swanson and Mrs. Blotsky, we will miss you so much! Your hard work, dedication, caring and knowledge for our students, staff and families will stay with us always. We wish you the best on your new roles.

It was the perfect way to celebrate an amazing school year together. We are so proud of our students, staff, and school community for all the growth, fun, and memories we shared this year 🐾

Thank you to The Optimist Club, Funds For The Future Grant for this project!
This is directed towards a qualifying project or initiative that makes a direct or lasting impact on the youth of Bismarck-Mandan. And guess who they chose? That's right Solheim Elementary. They reviewed our application and felt that this was a project that would make a difference in the lives of our school, students, families and the community.

Girls entering grades K-8 who love basketball or want to give it a go, this is for you!

Get ready for three days of skill-building, competition, and FUN with the BHS Girls Basketball program! This camp is open to girls entering Kindergarten through 8th grade and will focus on fundamentals like shooting, ball handling, passing, footwork, defense, teamwork, and live play.

June 8th–10th
BHS Karlgaard Gym
Camp fee: $60–$70 (based on grade level)
