Next Wednesday, we’re opening the doors for Music at BSC: Drop In & Discover—an afternoon where you can experience what being in music here actually looks like.

Whether you’re a student who’s curious about getting involved or you know someone who would benefit from this experience, this is a great opportunity to check things out.

Sit in on live rehearsals, meet current students and faculty, tour music facilities, and explore how you can stay involved in music at BSC—no matter your major.

Experience Bismarck Sings at Bismarck State College on April 8, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the Sidney J. Lee Auditorium, featuring choral music and vocal performances by local choirs, college ensembles, and talented student musicians. This collaborative community event, presented by the BSC Music Department, brings together the the BSC Concert Choir, Men’s Ensemble, Women’s Ensemble and Mystic Chorale with special guests, Northern Lights Barbershop Chorus and Jubilate of Central Dakota Children’s Choir for an inspiring evening of live music in Bismarck, ND.

This year’s concert features a fun theatrical twist, following a student inventor and his latest creation: a “musical time machine” that doesn’t always go quite as planned… 👀

We had an awesome time hosting Ben Suchy & Danny Savage on campus today for SoloCraft: The Art of One Man Banding — and our students got a firsthand look at how these guys build a full-band sound completely on their own. 🔥

From creativity and technique to straight-up performance energy, they brought it all.

👉 And they’re not done yet…

Join us TONIGHT at 7 PM in the Sidney J. Lee Auditorium for the full performance! Tickets are $10 at the door and free for BSC students (must show student ID at the door)

📣 A Tradition Returns. 📣

The last time Bismarck State College had a pep band was in the 1980s.
This year, we brought it back.

Mystics Pep Band is the revival of a long-standing BSC tradition, welcoming students, alumni, BSC staff, and community members to come together through music, school spirit, and game-day energy. A new generation is bringing live music back to BSC athletic events for the first time in decades.
