To Promote Highway Safety, Deliver Services and Provide Representation for Our Members.

The North Dakota Motor Carriers Association, a non-profit trade group, has represented the trucking industry in North Dakota, advocating for the industry at the state and federal levels. We provide educational programs and services to our membership which enhances their safety and maintenance efforts. In ND the trucking industry accounts for 1 in every 11 jobs and 46.4% of communities depend exclusively on trucks to move their goods.

The North Dakota Motor Carriers Association crowned its 2026 Truck Driving Championship winners on May 9 in Fargo. David Comings of Wahpeton repeated as grand champion, won the state 4-axle title and was on the winning Fed Ex Freight team. Next up, nationals in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Congratulations to our winners and thank everyone for coming out at competing.
