🌿 AIM: Abide in Me | John 15:5

Just like shrubs, sometimes we too can look healthy and full on the outside while still needing attention underneath.

In John 15, Jesus reminds His followers that God is the Gardener. He lovingly prunes what needs to be removed, changed, or surrendered - not without purpose, but so that more fruit can grow.

And that fruit doesn't come through effort alone. Jesus says, “Apart from me you can do nothing.” A life that abides in Christ bears fruit that reflects His character and brings Him glory.

This week, consider: What might God be asking to prune so there is room to grow and bear more fruit for Him?

Ayms Melin is our Sportclips MVP as Shiloh Christian defeats Hazen in the season opener. Not only did the Senior Captain catch passes from his TE position, his 92 yard pick 6 in the fourth quarter changed the entire complexion of the game, just as it seemed Hazen was mounting a comeback.

🌿 2026–27 Spiritual Theme: AIM – Abide in Me 🌿

Every school year begins with a theme that points us back to God's truth. This year, our focus comes from John 15: AIM – Abide in Me

Jesus reminds us: "Abide in me... apart from me you can do nothing." - John 15:4–5

Our prayer is that this year our students won't simply learn about Jesus, but will learn what it means to walk with Him each day - to remain connected to Him in every classroom, every conversation, every challenge, and every victory.

As we prepare to welcome students back, we invite our entire Shiloh community to join us in making Christ the center of this school year.

AIM. Abide in Me.

Shiloh Christian partners with Central Regional Education Association's Extended School Program (ESP) to offer before and after school care for Shiloh elementary students. Not only is this a great program for our families, it's a great opportunity for Shiloh high school students looking for a after-school job 😉
