Parents names: Amber and Morgan Vercimak

Favorite school memory: Watching The Outsiders on Broadway with my class.

What is one event or person who has made an impact in your life and why: The most influential people in my life are my parents. They helped shape into the person I am today. They helped guide me through challenges in my life and instilled my core values. They have always wanted me to work towards my goals and have been my biggest cheerleaders.

Words of wisdom or advice for underclassmen: Have a balance between hanging out with friends and family and studying for your classes.

What I will miss most is: I will miss seeing my friends and teachers in the halls.

Future plans: I plan on going to University of Mary to earn a degree in early and elementary education.

✨ Save the date for Skyhawktion!

Did you know the Skyhawktion includes four unique auctions?! There's an online silent auction, an online Shiloh Specials auction, an in-person only auction, and the big live auction!

But the different auctions are only part of what makes the Skyhawktion such a special night at Shiloh.

It's an evening to gather with our school community, enjoy a meal, browse the auctions, grab something from the bake sale, cheer on the live auction and have a little fun along the way!

Whether you've been coming for years or this will be your first Skyhawktion, we hope you'll plan to join us.

We're cheering on Shiloh Christian senior Connor Kiesz as he heads to the State Soccer Tournament with the Century Boys Soccer team!

Through our cooperative athletic opportunities with area schools, Shiloh students can participate in sports beyond those offered on our own campus. It's fun to celebrate their accomplishments and cheer them on wherever they compete!

“I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

In a world that encourages us to create our own path, define our own truth, and discover our own purpose, Jesus reminds us that all three are ultimately found in Him.

As we abide in Christ, He becomes more than someone we turn to when life gets difficult. His truth shapes our decisions, His example guides our actions, and His presence gives our lives purpose.

This week, consider: Are you building your life around Jesus, or simply making Him part of the life you've already chosen?

Now that we’ve got you thinking about what you’d love to BID on… what could you help us PUT up for bid? 😉

Each Shiloh class has a special Skyhawktion theme and families are helping build those class donations, but we’re looking beyond those, too!

Some of the best Skyhawktion donations start by thinking about:

What do you have? → A vacation property, tickets, new merchandise or something special to share.

What do you do? → A professional service, skill, experience or talent someone would love to bid on.

Who do you know? → A business, organization or connection that might be willing to donate something unique.

Big or small, it all helps us build exciting auctions and support Shiloh students.

Earlier this year, Shiloh Christian School's Board of Directors and school leadership introduced a five-year Strategic Plan built around 12 goals designed to guide our priorities and strengthen our mission.

Now, we're taking you inside the plan.

Throughout the school year, we'll highlight each of the 12 strategic goals and share how that work is taking shape across Shiloh.

Goal 1: Curriculum Alignment & Consistency

Our goal is to develop and maintain a clearly defined, aligned PK–12 curriculum that integrates a biblical worldview and ensures academic rigor.

This year, that work includes implementing new BJU curriculum across several grades and subject areas, launching a K–12 curriculum review cycle, and establishing department chairs in our middle/high school.

It's one piece of a larger commitment to Academic Excellence on a Christian Foundation - and one way our Strategic Plan is moving from planning to action.

🐾 WATCH D.O.G. SIGHTING! 🐾

Tyler Gludt joined us today for his first WATCH D.O.G.S. experience, and he picked one of our favorite days of the week... Chapel Day! 🙌💙💛

We love welcoming dads into the school day, giving them a chance to experience Shiloh alongside their kids, and making connections throughout our elementary community.

WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) brings dads and other positive male role models into our school to spend time with students, build relationships, and be part of our One School Community.

Parents names: Cassie Rose and Scott Rose

Favorite school memory: Getting ready with my friends for Prom 2026!

What is one event or person who has made an impact in your life and why: My Mom; she is the light in my life. She's the sweetest and kindest human I have ever met. She has always been there for me and stood up for me.

Words of wisdom or advice for underclassmen: Have fun! Do the activities, join everything you can, and make sure you're included!

What I will miss most is: My friends that I’ve seen every day since kindergarten.

Future plans: I plan to attend BSC for my business degree and then go to Grand Forks to get my aesthetician certification.
