It was Decision Day activities for our graduating seniors today! They ate, won prizes, and took some fun photos! When this group was in 6th grade, they wrote a letter to themselves to open and read their senior year. So, that brought a lot of laughs. A big thank you to all of the donations, (prizes and cupcakes). Shoutout to the RootEd team and Mineral Area College for supporting our students today.

Congratulations to the students who received Elks Teen of the Month throughout the year. Tonight, the Elks held a banquet to honor these students. A HUGE thank you to the Elks Lodge in Farmington for recognizing our students!

Our Sophomores and Juniors completed their Mental Health First Aide Program today! A big thank you to Whitney Shumway with St. Francois County Mental Health Board for coming to educate our students!

37 students were able to go on Industry Tours today to tour businesses and learn about how they operate on the day to day. Thank you to Farmington Signs, Cap America, and Forte for having our students. It was a great day with a great group of students.

The 9th graders have completed their Mental Health First Aid Program. This course teaches skills for providing initial help to friends experiencing or developing a mental health or substance use challenge. Thank you to Whitney Shumway with the St. Francois County Mental Health Board for bringing this program into our school for our students.

Thank you MAC Tech for hosting Shadow A Tech Day! We had 4 students who were able to go and shadow in the Welding Department.

Today was 8th grade Manufacturing Day at MacTech. We had the best time! Students got the chance to wire up a lightbulb, weld, compete in tire changing stations, and even explore the birthing process of calves, sheep, and pigs! Bismarck students walked away with the 3 prizes given out today! Thank you Mineral Area College for this opportunity for our students!
