Learning Beyond the Classroom! 🐎

Our Silver Ranch 3rd graders took their learning on the road last Friday with a field trip to the North Dakota Heritage Center!

As part of their Wit & Wisdom Module 1 study of Oceans, students became researchers as they explored didactic wall panels, the informational displays found in museums. Armed with clipboards and a scavenger hunt, students carefully examined what makes an effective wall panel, gathering ideas and inspiration to create their very own as part of their upcoming learning task!

👏 And the learning wasn't the only thing worth celebrating! Our students received numerous compliments from Heritage Center staff and our bus drivers about their respectful behavior. We couldn't be prouder of how they represented Silver Ranch and demonstrated our school beliefs of being Safe, Respectful, and Responsible!

Way to go, 3rd graders! You made the Stampede proud! 💙🐎

♟️ Checkmate! Chess Fun at Silver Ranch! ♟️

We were excited to welcome Mr. Todd Wolf to Silver Ranch this week to share his love of chess with our 2nd–5th grade students!

Whether students were learning the game for the very first time or sharpening their chess skills, there was plenty of excitement, strategic thinking, and fun!

Today we celebrate Custodian Appreciation Day and four incredible people who help make Silver Ranch such a great place to learn, work, and grow!

A huge THANK YOU to Matt, Julie, Ethan, and Allison for everything you do for our students, staff, and school each and every day. From keeping our building clean and safe to helping with the countless things that happen behind the scenes, your hard work, flexibility, and care do not go unnoticed.
