Our Preschool 3 friends had a blast with a hands-on STEAM activity before the cold weather started! 🧡 We added sand and water to our sensory table and brought out the construction vehicles for some messy, creative fun! 🚧🪣

Our little builders explored textures, discovered how water changes sand, and practiced problem-solving and fine motor skills while digging, scooping, and building! 🌟

⏰ Parenting Tip of the Week: Talk About What Comes Next!

Concepts like time and sequence can be difficult for young children to understand. You can make them easier by describing everyday routines in order.

Try narrating your morning:
“First, we eat breakfast. Next, we put on our shoes. Then, we leave for daycare!”

You can also ask your child what comes next during familiar activities, such as washing hands before eating.

These simple conversations help children build sequencing skills, understand routines, and feel more prepared for transitions throughout the day.

Did you know that once everyone gets outside during a fire emergency, they should stay outside?

Our little learners can practice remembering three important words: Get Out. Stay Out. Never go back inside to retrieve a toy, backpack, or other belongings. Let firefighters handle the emergency and tell them if someone may still be inside.
