This summer, Camp Ed students learned about Teddy Roosevelt. An artist from Dickinson, Cherie Roseau will feature three students' pictures in the Southwest art gallery until September.

A friend from Roosevelt got a special visit from Chick-fil-A. Students in Mrs. Clark’s camp ed class wrote letters to businesses that told them why their restaurant was the best. One student got a big surprise when Chick-fil-A showed up with the cow and a whole meal and merch for her and her family! Big shout-out to Chick-fil-A, thanks for always supporting our students!

At our last rally of the year, our students of the month were recognized for their superpower, "Reflective". All students worked hard to meet their sticker goal for being respectful, responsible, and safe. As a result, they earned their reward of an all-school bowling field trip!
We also took a moment to recognize a couple of amazing volunteers here at Roosevelt. Grandma Jan worked with students in grades K-3 to help provide extra educational support through the AmeriCorps Foster Grandparent Program. Mary Dunn and Duncan visited every week to read with students in all grades. We were truly blessed to have these amazing women share their time and talents with us!
