At our last rally of the year, our students of the month were recognized for their superpower, "Reflective". All students worked hard to meet their sticker goal for being respectful, responsible, and safe. As a result, they earned their reward of an all-school bowling field trip!
We also took a moment to recognize a couple of amazing volunteers here at Roosevelt. Grandma Jan worked with students in grades K-3 to help provide extra educational support through the AmeriCorps Foster Grandparent Program. Mary Dunn and Duncan visited every week to read with students in all grades. We were truly blessed to have these amazing women share their time and talents with us!

ππ Book Return Challenge: Mission Accomplished! ππ
Way to go, Roughriders! We are excited to announce that we reached an incredible 94% book return rate this year! ππ That means hundreds of library books are back on the shelves and ready for next yearβs readers.
Congratulations to our winning class:
π 1st Grade π
The first graders returned the most books and earned the honor of choosing the winning hair color this yearβ¦ GREEN! π Miss Keller proudly showed off the new green hair today while celebrating with the class.
We are so proud of our entire school community. This was truly a school-wide effort, and every student, teacher, and family helped make it happen. Thank you for helping us take care of our library and finish the year strong! ππ

The primary roles of the PTO are to provide opportunities for parents, teachers, and administration to communicate about school and student activities, ideas, and concerns and to help support the students, staff and families of the school through the organization and support of activities and events.
Traditionally, the PTO has organized two main events: Party on the Playground and Chili Bingo. The PTO supports one main fundraiser β the recently introduced Spring Raffle.

At our April rally, our students of the month were recognized for their Cooperative superpower!
The Galloping Guardians' cabin earned the trophy for receiving the most stickers in the month of April.
While the students fell short of meeting their monthly sticker goal, they plan to work extra hard in May to meet their goal! We know that they can achieve it by being respectful, responsible, and safe every day.
