IPAC - Indigenous Parent Advisory Committee -Parent Group The BPS Title VI & Johnson O'Malley program is advised by the Title VI & J.O.M. Parent Advisory Committee. program. It is the intent of the Title VI & J.O.M.

This page was created to keep parents and guardians of Native American students at Bismarck Public Schools better informed of meetings and events concerning JOM/Title VI and also a place to share your concerns and ideas with the board and committee. The committee is composed of parents and guardians of Indigenous students, public school teachers, and Indigenous middle or high school students. The

parent committee advises the Director, Coordinator, and the BPS District in the direction and implementation of the Title VI & J.O.M. program to collaborate with the existing programs in the Bismarck Public School district. The current members of the BPS Title VI & J.O.M. Parent Committee are:

Bismarck Indigenous Parent Advisory Committee (IPAC) would like to welcome everyone to the 2026-2027 school year. We are starting this year off with a fresh page. Follow this page to stay up to date on Bismarck IPAC news, upcoming meetings, and opportunities for our indigenous students. We hope everyone has a great school year!

REMINDER that our Back-to-School-a-Palooza event will be held this Wednesday at Sertoma Park. We are always happy to partner with Bismarck Public Schools' Office of Indian Education to provide a huge Indigenous community celebration of students and send them back to school in a good way.

Come visit our main booth at Shelter 3 to sign up for FREE haircuts, attend our workshops where you can win one of two $500 shopping sprees, play trivia games for gift cards and school supplies, and play lawn games for school supplies and cards. PLUS we'll have a Pledge to Vote station where you can pick up some food. We'll have a lot to learn and do. Come see us!
