Announcements 8/23/26
Good afternoon Knights family. These are the announcements for the week of August 24th.
-Our start time each day is at 7:50. If you arrive as a car rider and the door is closed, please take students around to the front door so they can check in as tardy at the front office. Also, please do not drop students off at the front of the building unless they are tardy. Car riders,
in the mornings, the first three cars can be let out each time.
-As a reminder, it is important that students come to school with the supplies they need each day to be successful. Our school supply list, separated by grade, is located on our EMS page.
-Parents and guardians, please help make sure that our students are following the school dress code.
-Technology fees are $40, and the locker fee is $1. These fees can be paid in our front office.
-Our first Thankful Thursday of the year is this Thursday. Please talk with your students about their lunchtime to reduce the number of calls to our office on Thursday. Students are still expected to get school lunch, but you are welcome to bring lunch from outside resources. The cost of lunch is $5 for guests. Additionally, students may only eat with their grade level at their assigned lunchtime.
-Please return signed FERPA paperwork and Title 1 compacts to the school as soon as possible. These are important documents that need to be returned.
-The fall sports Parent Meeting is scheduled for Thursday at 5:00. We will meet in the gym.
-In sports this week, all teams will practice on Monday. The cross country meet for this week has been canceled and will not be rescheduled. All our teams will begin games next week.
Our football team will participate in a multi-team scrimmage on Wednesday at 5:00 at Cheraw High School. The cost of the scrimmage is $8.
