A stress relief toy called the Natasha doll has gone viral on Chinese social media... and the dark skinned version is the one dominating videos of people throwing, stomping, and aggressively handling it for entertainment. 👀 When someone asked why the Black version was chosen, a user allegedly explained that a white baby would feel "too human". That people would feel bad hurting it. This is not just about a toy. This is about a pattern that has been packaging the dehumanization of Black people as entertainment for centuries. 😞

Racism has been declared a public health crisis by medical and public health institutions across this country... so why does it still feel like a political opinion? And can a nation truly heal without first telling the truth about what made it sick? 🤔
The White House and Capitol were built largely by enslaved people... and the government organized it, paid for it, and documented every transaction. 👀 The Statue of Freedom on top of the Capitol dome was cast by an enslaved man named Philip Reid who earned $41.25 for the entire job while his owner kept the rest. 💔 Over 200 known enslaved individuals built the symbols of American democracy. Remember their names.
Grabbed the mic at a creator conference and asked one question... then let the chaos unfold 😭
10/10 would do it again. Zero regrets. 😂
Jakoya Renae Morgan was 19 years old and spent her nights caring for sick children as a certified nursing assistant at Children’s of Alabama in Birmingham 😔 On May 26th 2026 she was found unresponsive during her overnight shift and was pronounced dead less than an hour later 🕊 The coroner confirmed an acute medical event associated with a chronic health condition she had previously been diagnosed with. She showed up for everyone. Her story deserves to be told.
A woman sat down to celebrate her anniversary and left with a racial slur typed at the bottom of her receipt. The waiter was fired... but only after the receipt went viral. That’s not accountability. That’s damage control. 🚨 Racism doesn’t always arrive loudly. Sometimes it shows up quietly, at the bottom of a check, in 2026. The word has a history. The dismissiveness has a history. And people deserve better than having to go viral just to be treated with dignity. 🤷🏾♂️
In 1968, 75 out of 90 X-ray technicians admitted they were giving Black patients higher doses of radiation because... and these are their actual words: "Black people’s bones are harder and denser. Their skin is darker. Their flesh is harder." 😤 These weren’t rogue technicians. They were following their training. Medical textbooks. Training manuals. Guidelines from major manufacturers. All of it rooted in the same false beliefs used to justify slavery. It took a Senate hearing and Ralph Nader to stop it. The device changed. The assumption never fully did. 🤷🏾♂️
A Black woman went on camera and asked us to imagine the outrage over White History Month, White Entertainment Television, and white-owned businesses being promoted 😭 The argument was that Black institutions are a double standard... so I pulled up the history and the data to explain exactly why every single one of those things exists 👀 Black History Month. BET. Black-owned businesses. None of them were created for fun. They were created out of necessity. And the receipts are devastating.
Most people have no idea that Woody from Toy Story was named after a real person... a Black man named Woody Strode who broke the NFL color barrier one year before Jackie Robinson integrated baseball. 🔥 At UCLA he played alongside Jackie Robinson and Kenny Washington... three Black men so dominant they called them the Gold Dust Gang. Then he became a Golden Globe nominated actor. Then Pixar immortalized him as the most beloved toy in movie history. Your kids have been playing with his legacy for thirty years and nobody ever told you his name. Now you know. 🙌🏾
