On February 11, 2026, Cool Green Trees partnered with Hudson K-8 School to plant trees on campus, creating lasting benefits for our students and neighborhood.

On January 27, 2026, Hudson K-8 School hosted a successful Free Hair Cut Event in support of our students and families. This event provided students with complimentary haircuts to help them feel confident, prepared, and proud as they continue their academic journey.

We are grateful to the volunteers and partners who donated their time and talents to make this event possible. Their support reflects our shared commitment to student well-being and success.

Due to inclement weather, all schools and facilities will be closed on Monday, January 26. The safety of our students, families, and staff is our top priority and we appreciate your understanding. We plan to resume classes on Tuesday, January 27 at the regularly scheduled time.

Picture Day is January 29, 2026. Students will have their school photos taken during the school day. Please ensure students are dressed appropriately. Additional information regarding ordering and packages will be sent home.

On January 16, 2025, our school proudly celebrated Honors and Awards Day by recognizing students for their academic excellence, positive behavior, leadership, and good citizenship. Students across all grade levels were honored for their hard work and dedication throughout the semester.

The program reflected our commitment to high expectations and student achievement, while celebrating the support of families, teachers, and staff who help make student success possible. We commend all award recipients for their outstanding accomplishments and continued pursuit of excellence.

Please join us for our First Semester Awards Day Program on Friday, January 16, 2026. Programs will be held at 9:00 a.m. (Grades K–5) and 10:30 a.m. (Grades 6–8). This event recognizes students for academic achievement, positive behavior, and good citizenship throughout the semester.
