Our Academy of Health Science scholars recently participated in a campus tour, a workforce development information session, and interactive Health Science program experiences at Lawson State Community College. They explored career pathways, gained hands-on insights, and strengthened their vision for a future in healthcare.

🌱 Academy of Horticulture 🌱
Our scholars are hard at work on their mentored industry project with our community partner, Jones Valley Teaching Farm. Students prepared the hoop house and hydroponic garden for spring planting, gaining real-world agricultural experience while supporting sustainable food education in our community.

Students participated in the UAB Bridge Program to learn about careers in Health Science with the Jefferson County Department of Health. These hands-on experiences help students see how Science connects to real careers, and why their future in Health Care starts NOW! 💚🥼💛
