Blaze looks pretty good in white! How at you spending your Snow Day? ❄️☃️

The Dean’s Office had a special visitor from the North Pole recently while Dean Christopher Shook was out. “Blaze” Sugar Gumdrop didn’t make much mischief, but he did build a moated castle on a desk, defend faculty and staff with snowballs and generally look after the place in the Dean’s absence. Many thanks to student assistant Coulter Bumgarner, who invited the elf and oriented him to the office. We’re already looking forward to another visit next year. Happy Holidays!
Congratulations to our newest UAB Collat School of Business alumni! We loved celebrating our graduating students this weekend with a reception between the undergraduate and graduate commencement ceremonies. Go Blazers! 🎓
