Rambo has since gone to dog afterlife and was the best I could ask for as my companion. I couldn’t save him. I don’t have words to express the enjoyment he offered on the roller coast of life. I get upset writing it so I’ll stop here, but he was one of my best friends. He will be kept on the page and videos of him will be given as comedic relief throughout language lessons and posting. I’ll miss you and hope there is an afterlife with you. Don’t let his damper your holiday if you celebrate Christmas. I’m sure he’s happy.

🇺🇸🇲🇽🇺🇸🇲🇽Doctora. C. is what I have called her for years. She is a Mexican native and plastic surgeon in Mexico. She is very talented. I have known her for 5 years, and she is an extremely kind woman. I thank her for her conversation and time. She can now understand my Spanish haha. She’s very intelligent on all matters medicine within her environment, and I treasure her friendship. Thank you Dra. 🇺🇸🇧🇷🇺🇸🇧🇷I have mentioned mentors but want to recognize my mentoring language tutors. I want to mention two notable language tutors amongst all of my mentors on the specific healthcare arena. All are notable, but with both of these mentors being healthcare oriented is a big bonus. Dr. Vidal, 2024-2025 fellow at UAB Pathology within Cytopathology, has been invaluable in medical terminology and correct pronunciation of Brazilian Portuguese. He is a great friend, and I am honored to learn from him. He’s super strong with the weights when we workout as well. 💪 Really solid guy.
Second, Dra. Fernanda has been invaluable in my understanding and teaches medicine and nutrition in Brazil. She has given me insight into their system and the many challenges they face. I greatly appreciate her availing time, and I appreciate her correction of my better, but still elementary level Brazilian Portuguese. I’ll work on it. Plus, if you have not had a Brazilian dish, they’re amazing. I appreciate both of these mentors and will begin recognizing more in future posts.
