Welcome, Opelika, to the MTI family! Congratulations, director Jacob Burdette and instructor Kevin James, on the launch of one of our seven new sites this month.
And welcome back, Santuck Elmore, to year two! Thanks to great leadership from director Larry Gore and instructor Terry Johnson, we’ll see many of these students again at graduation!
Thank you, too, to director Dr. Melvin Ervin in Alexander City for a brief but encouraging meeting along the way. A great day on the road with these great folks!

Samford University/Ministry Training Institute is at Fortify! Thank you, Mary Kelley and Larry Hyche at Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions, Men’s Spiritual Develoment, for hosting this incredible event for young men! Nurturing faith, making disciples - we are grateful to share in your mission. I also ran into the mighty Dr. Jon Hathcock from Madison Baptist Association and our MTI team there. A great day with these great students and ministry leaders!

An inspiring night with three amazing groups - Birmingham West, Docena, and Bessemer (not pictured, but a really good looking group)! Grateful for the leadership of directors Pam Williams, Linda Griggs, and Michael Barron, the faithfulness of instructors Michael Frazier, Christopher Ruffin, and Lee Praytor, and the dedication of these students.
