PTO is excited for the school year!

Today was a great day of planning and collaboration. We had a successful Boosterthon meeting followed by a PTO Board meeting, and we are already looking forward to all that this school year will bring.

One of the things we love most about our school community is seeing so many people come together, share ideas, and work toward a common goal: supporting our students and making our school the best it can be.

We are grateful for everyone who gives their time, energy, and ideas to our school. We are excited for the year ahead and all we can accomplish together!

It's Ice Cream Time!! 🍦🍨

Alsies Ice Cream is coming to Inverness again this year.
The first visit of the year is coming up on September 11th. There will be a total of 4 visits this year and the cost is $4 per visit OR you can pre-pay and save time! Attached is a QR code to pre-pay online before the deadline of September 9th.

Please remember that once again this year you have the option to pay for a friend so everyone can enjoy ice cream day together!
Alsies has also been kind enough to sponsor our teachers this year, so they will enjoy alongside your students!

Yesterday the PTO hosted a breakfast meeting for all of the new Room Reps for 2026-2027. Thank you to PTO president Rebecca Jones for hosting in your home and Caitlin Bolt, our Room Rep Coordinator, for putting together a wonderful gathering. We look forward to a wonderful year supporting our teachers, classrooms and support staff.

We are so excited for the start of the new year with IES PTO! We held our first meeting of the year yesterday and it was great to see and meet everyone!

If you are hesitant to join PTO because you have littles at home just know we do too and they are now our little PTO buddies! Bring them along!

Hey all!! It’s time for our first Inverness Elementary PTO meeting for the year! 🎉

We cannot wait to see you all as we get involved, make a difference and support our school!

Date: Wednesday August 19th
We will meet and mingle, coffee and connect at 8:30. Then the meeting will start at 9:00.
The meeting will be held in the IES Cafeteria.

We are looking forward to the start of a great year with Inverness PTO!

First Saturday Serve Day!

This Saturday August 1st from 8:00am to 11:00am come help Inverness Elementary School prepare for the first day of school!

Stay the whole time or just an hour, whatever you can help with will make a difference!
Everyone is welcome!!

We will be: spreading pine straw, w**d eating, and cleaning up walkways and outdoor areas.

Bring your work gloves, a water bottle and your friends and get ready to serve your community!

If you haven’t completed registration, your student will not receive a teacher placement letter or email next week.

FYI- If you register late, you will receive your placement at Meet the Teacher on August 12th.

For those completely registered, Teacher Placements will be emailed on July 31st.
