Family Care Center at The Guiding Light Church

Family Care Center at The Guiding Light Church The Family Care Center is a unique environment where program services and care are offered for every age – infant to elderly.

Housed within The Guiding Light Church, The Family Care Center was organized in 1992 as a one-program service, Adult Day Care, and in 1998, it was incorporated and received its 501(c)3 designation. Since that time, the center has grown to include four basic program service areas: Family Care Academy (child development program), Adult Day Care, After School and Extended Day Care, and Summer Camp.

We even have a volunteer service through Senior & Family Matters which offer support to the Adult Day Care. Under the direction of Minister Charlena Bray, the FCC is committed to assuring the best possible care for its clients, caregivers, parents and guardians. We invite you to visit with us and meet our excellent staff.

What an amazing first week! We played in Railroad Park, planted tomatoes and strawberries, bounced at Pump It Up, wrote summertime songs, practiced our manners and learned the Days of Creation. And that's just a few of the things we did. Whew!!! Look for pictures coming soon.
