Family Care Center at The Guiding Light Church

The Family Care Center is a unique environment where program services and care are offered for every age – infant to elderly.
Housed within The Guiding Light Church, The Family Care Center was organized in 1992 as a one-program service, Adult Day Care, and in 1998, it was incorporated and received its 501(c)3 designation. Since that time, the center has grown to include four basic program service areas: Family Care Academy (child development program), Adult Day Care, After School and Extended Day Care, and Summer Camp.

Congrats to our summer camp music teacher, John Mark, on the birth of his beautiful daughter, Hannah Elizabeth!
We're getting ready for our 2013-14 After School Care year. New routes to the Trussville and Center Point areas! Keep and eye out for registration info.

So much to do, see & learn!
What an amazing first week! We played in Railroad Park, planted tomatoes and strawberries, bounced at Pump It Up, wrote summertime songs, practiced our manners and learned the Days of Creation. And that's just a few of the things we did. Whew!!! Look for pictures coming soon.
