The UAB National Alumni Society (NAS) was formally introduced in 1979. Since then, the NAS seen nearly 40 years of growth with members chapters across the country and world. The NAS is proud to partner with our schools and colleges in raising over one million dollars from alumni to provide student scholarships. A few years after the NAS was founded, the Student Alumni Society (SAS) was established to help students make the transition from being a student to becoming an alumni member.
