The purpose of this organization shall be to promote the welfare and excellence of The University of Alabama at Birmingham and to assist in the development and support of a mutually beneficial relationship between UAB and its alumni. The society is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes for the promotion of UAB and its alumni.
Company Overview:
The UAB National Alumni Society (NAS) was formally introduced in 1979. Since then, the NAS seen nearly 40 years of growth with members chapters across the country and world. The NAS is proud to partner with our schools and colleges in raising over one million dollars from alumni to provide student scholarships. A few years after the NAS was founded, the Student Alumni Society (SAS) was established to help students make the transition from being a student to becoming an alumni member. Both the NAS and the SAS offer outstanding benefits to their members.
