The Department of Communication and Media (CAM) offers a liberal arts education while simultaneously offering hands-on professional training. We offer two degrees: Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication and Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. Both programs hold multiple national records and honors. We also offer minors in Film Production, Sports Media, and Communication Studies. The department is home to a powerhouse debate team that is perennially ranked in the top 25 teams in the nation by the American Debate Association. Our award-winning professors prepare you for professional development. Professors teaching skills courses have career experience in the industry.
