Last week, we proudly celebrated our 5th graders during their Promotion Ceremony. We are so proud of all they have accomplished and excited to see them begin their middle school journey.

Last week, we celebrated our preK students as they crossed the stage to be promoted to kindergarten!

From learning their letters and numbers to making new friends, these students have grown so much this year. We couldn’t be prouder of our future leaders! Way to go, Chargers! Kindergarten is lucky to have you!

Yesterday was an amazing day celebrating our Charger Champs!🥇🏆

We proudly recognized all of our teams who earned District Championships, as well as the teams who achieved 1st place in their sports categories this season. Your hard work, dedication, and teamwork continue to make our school community proud!

The celebration began with a fun neighborhood parade and ended with an assembly in the gym. Shout out to Huffman High School’s drumline for their performance at our celebration.

Last week, we had a blast honoring our incredible teachers! Each day, they were treated to delicious meals and sweet treats, along with a little friendly competition with our daily “Teacher Trivia” questions. Those who answered correctly won fantastic prizes!

A huge thank you to The Guiding Light Church’s World Vision Ministry for sponsoring these wonderful gifts and helping us shower our teachers with appreciation. Your generosity made this celebration extra special!

Our choir and band both earned Superior Ratings at last week’s BCS All City Evaluations! Your hard work truly shines. We’re so proud of our talented Chargers!

Chargers Shine in the Dream Architecture Competition!🎨

The Dream Architecture Competition is an annual art contest for Birmingham students that sparks creativity in designing their dream buildings. This year’s challenge was a dream hotel, and we are thrilled to announce that our very own Karli Elliott (2nd grade) and Mason Smith (4th grade) are among the 36 winners out of 2,280 entries from 19 schools, with wonderful guidance from our art teacher, Mrs. J. Jones.

Karli and Mason were recognized at a special awards ceremony on May 7th, and we couldn’t be prouder of their amazing creativity and Charger spirit.

Today was an incredible day as we hosted our Career, Health, & Wellness Fair! Our students had the chance to explore exciting career opportunities, meet local business leaders and entrepreneurs, and even learn from our amazing police and fire department teams.

We also focused on wellness, offering mental health sessions and serving up nutritious smoothies to keep our Chargers energized and healthy!

A big thank you to everyone who participated and helped make today such a success. Seeing our students engage, learn, and have fun was truly inspiring!
