For the past 11 years, STREAM Innovations has provided opportunities for students across Alabama around Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, and Math.

But it has been much more than that….we have created spaces for innovators to feel seen, valued, and connected with other students that truly enjoy learning new things and being challenged to try harder. Words cannot express our love for the work that we do to support the next generation of problem solvers and world changers.

Today, we need your help to close an immediate gap in support. Please know we would not ask unless the need was immediate to support current operations.

Once an Innovator, Always an Innovator!

We love seeing our STREAM Innovators continue to grow and pursue their passions!

Today, we’re celebrating Seth, a former STREAM Innovations Coding Bootcamp participant and current high school senior who plans to pursue Nursing Anesthesiology. 🩺

Seth was recently selected to write for a teen medical publication and has launched his own blog focused on Teen Health!

We’re proud to see Seth using his voice, exploring his passion for healthcare, and building his future. Keep going, Seth—your STREAM family is cheering you on! 🚀

As students head back to school, we want to give a special shoutout to our Junior Champions who spent part of their summer growing, learning and gaining real-world experience with STREAM Innovations! 🎒

Through the City of Birmingham Department of Youth Services, these outstanding high school students got a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to bring Summer STREAM Labs to life.

From building new skills to stepping outside their comfort zones, they’re sharing how the experience helped them grow both personally and professionally —and how they’re taking those lessons with them into the new school year.

We’re proud of our Junior Champions and excited to see what’s next for them. Keep growing, keep leading, and have an amazing school year! 🚀

What an amazing Saturday at Block in Bloom! 🌼💙

STREAM Innovations was grateful for the opportunity to be part of this wonderful community celebration. From meeting new families to sharing hands-on activities, it was a joy to inspire curiosity, creativity and a love for learning.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, engaged with our team, and learned more about STREAM Innovations. Your support and enthusiasm remind us why this work matters.

Hosted by Birmingham City Council District 8 and The Flourish as part of the Safe Summer Concert Series, this community celebration brings neighbors together for a day of connection, fun and resources.
