Below is one of the many reason why I run an Active Kids Class at Victorious MMA every Monday 345-445.
We get the kids working, moving, inverted, playing and having fun! You should check it out.. I mean what do you have to lose besides your kids future :)
If you are interested in joining or learning more please email me.. [email protected]
Dear Coach,
My name is Jack, and I just wanted to write to say thank you for being my coach.
Before I joined your team, I didn't really like playing sports. I tried soccer and other stuff, but it wasn't fun. The other coaches always made us do really hard drills, and I wasn't good at them. It made me feel sad and like I wasn't good at soccer. I didn't feel like I was part of the team, and I was always nervous to mess up.
But when I joined your team, everything changed! You made practice fun, and we got to play games that didn't feel like drills. I didn't even realize I was getting better at soccer because we were having so much fun. The games helped me feel like I could actually do stuff, and I wasn't scared anymore.
Now, I'm always excited for practice, and I can't wait to play soccer every week. I finally feel like I'm good at it and like I'm part of the team. You made me love soccer, and now I want to be a professional soccer player when I grow up!
Thank you for making soccer fun and for helping me feel like I can do it.
Your friend,
Jack
The above is a fictional letter that gives you a glimpse into a young child's mind, which is something every coach and parent should consider.
Here's why:
We can really shape how a child feels about sports and physical activity in their early years. If a child doesn't enjoy it or feels discouraged, they may never develop the motivation to keep going. That's why the ADG Method ensures every practice is filled with joy through engagement and competence. Kids who feel excited and confident love the experience and can't wait to return for more
So the next time you plan a session or sign your child up for a program, remember Jack's story and how a coach made all the difference.
