Essential Manners and Social Skill for Teens will give your teenager important skills they will use for a life time. This program teaches important life skills including self confidence, self respect presence poise attitudes of success, dining etiquette and social skills.
The question: When dining, what do I do with my napkin if I leave the table before ending the meal? Should you have to leave the table gently fold your napkin and place to the left of your plate. In upper scale restaurants your napkin will be replaced if you must leave the table.
Birmingham Etiquette & Protocol Academy had a fun time at Homewood Library! Teens learn about introductions, handshakes, engaging in conversation, how to READ the table and how to eat pizza. Thanks to all for their participation and thank you Homewood Library and Ms. West for the pizza!

This is an opportunity to learn about introductions and why they are important, a quick "how to" on speaking and how to READ the table. Teens come join us for this fun and engaging event!
I was asked the other day, "What side of the plate does your drink go on"? Sometimes a server will place your drink on the left. If you said the right you are correct. An easy way to remember is the "b" & "d" rule. Bread plate on the left and drink on the right.
