Thanks to everyone who came out to our April meeting today!! This was our last meeting for the year, we can’t wait to see you again in the fall!

This weekend a group of officers had the opportunity to attend the PPA annual meeting in Arlington, VA! It was a time of learning, networking, and building connections from Samford and beyond. Thank you for this incredible opportunity!

Introducing… Alex Lewis, your 2026 PPA secretary! Alex is a P1 and her favorite thing about PPA is the opportunity to learn about the various ways that pharmacists can be involved in aspects of pediatric care. A fun fact about her is that she played college basketball and she loves working out!

Meet Tanner Nichols, our 2026 president elect! Tanner is a P1 and his favorite thing about PPA is the opportunity to learn about all the different aspects of pediatric pharmacy. A fun fact about him is that he was formerly in the Air Force, he lived in Japan for a couple years, and he enjoys doing anything outdoors! Get to know Tanner as he will be our president next year!

We’re back after spring break and here to announce Ellie Martin as this year’s fundraising chair! Ellie is a P1 and her favorite thing about PPA is the opportunity we’re given to meet pediatric pharmacists from around the country. A fun fact about Ellie is that she collects vinyl records! We can’t wait to see all that she does this year!
