Montgomery Public Schools kicked off our Make-and-Take Mondays Family Workshop series with a fantastic first session focused on Homework Toolkits! 🛠️📚

Families gathered at the MPS Leadership Center to build custom academic toolkits, discuss effective study habits—including busting the "20 Minute Myth"—and prepare for a successful school year ahead. Thank you to all the parents, students, and staff who came out to make our first workshop such a great success!

McKee Middle School Families — 21st CCLC Pre-Registration is Now Open!

We are excited to announce that McKee Middle School is participating in the Montgomery Public Schools 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) FREE After-School Program!

The 21st CCLC program provides engaging, high-quality opportunities designed to help students grow academically, socially, and personally.

Students will have opportunities to participate in:

McKee Middle School families are invited to learn more about our 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) Program, which provides students with additional academic support, enrichment, and opportunities for growth beyond the regular school day.

Program opportunities may include:

• Homework assistance and tutoring
• Reading and math support
• STEM and robotics activities
• Enrichment clubs and fine arts
• Wellness and recreation
• Family engagement activities

The 21st CCLC Program helps students strengthen academic skills, build confidence, explore new interests, and stay connected to school.

McKee families, it is time to get Supply Ready for the 2026–2027 school year! Please review the attached supply lists carefully and purchase the required items for your student’s grade level.

Important Reminders
No book bags are allowed.
Students must use a Trapper Keeper only.
Five different-colored folders are required.
Students must bring a wired headset.
Permanent markers are not permitted.
Only child-proof, rounded-tip scissors are allowed.
Uniform Shirt Colors
6th Grade: Gold polo shirt
7th Grade: Royal blue polo shirt
8th Grade: Red polo shirt

Please Note:
6th-grade students need a TI-30XS scientific calculator
7th- and 8th-grade students need a TI-34 MultiView scientific calculator.
