Congratulations to the Biology and Health Science presenters at Birmingham-Southern College’s Honors Day: Matt Dale, Andrew Dutton, Sara Kate Thomas, and Owen Phillips! We are tremendously proud and so thrilled with all our students have done and continue to do. 💫✨🌱

Last week Biology 101 classes visited the UAB Solar House. We have so enjoyed coming here the past few years and learning about solar power, sustainable appliances, and native plants. 🌱☀️

BSC Microbiology labs visited the Jefferson County Village Creek Water Reclamation Facility this week and learned about the process of cleaning dirty water from homes, businesses, and landfills. We got a up close look at the treatment process that generates reclaimed water that enters Village Creek.
