Make plans to attend the Westminster Variety Show in the OMPC sanctuary Friday night at 7:00!
Last night the senior mothers and daughters had a special event in the art room. Moms made clay lanterns for their daughters to take to college and daughters made lanterns for their moms. There was much food and fellowship as the majority of the girl's senior class was in attendance. Creativity and laughter were flowing!
Each year before Christmas break, the first grade students have a surprise mystery reader! Mrs. Keeler reads and leads a discussion of Great Joy by Kate DiCamillo with the students. They loved it!
A group of parents gathered in Mrs. Keeler's home last night for a book club discussion of Virtuous Minds: Intellectual Character Development by Philip E. Dow. This complements the work our teachers have already been doing to implement these virtues in the classrooms.
Sixth grade students got to explore the wonder of the eye and all the parts that work together to give us sight. It was a special treat to have parents assist the students during the cow eye dissection!

Every senior in the Westminster class if 2022 has applied to college and received a piece of their pie of choice today. "No Pie Til You Apply"!

First graders visited the American Village today. They were able to sail on the Mayflower with the Pilgrims, play Pilgrim games, meet with Chief Massasoit, and discover what foods they would have eaten at the first Thanksgiving. We are thankful to learn how God began our wonderful country!
Kindergarten students enjoyed a cold morning at Old Baker Farm today!
The juniors are creating their own heraldry designs. All of the visual images they are using are symbolic to their lives. Each student also has a motto written in Latin, Greek or Spanish.
Fourth graders presented their biography book reports this week.
