What a special morning at OMIS! Our fifth‑grade awards ceremony was a celebration of hard work, character, and growth. These students have shown resilience, kindness, and leadership, and today we honored every bit of it.
As they head to OMMS, we know they’ll continue to make us proud. Once an OMIS Eagle, always an Eagle — and we’ll always be cheering for them. 💙🦅

Huge thanks to our amazing PTO for stocking the teachers’ area as we enter the final stretch of the school year… caffeine consumption is high, and everyone is basically running on vibes and countdowns. 😂☀️

And a special shoutout to Erica Tran Sanchez for securing the LMNT packets, because surviving the end of the school year requires hydration, electrolytes, and maybe a little magic. 💙

As this school year comes to a close, so does this chapter of my PTO leadership journey and my heart is incredibly full. Serving our school community has been one of the greatest honors and blessings of my life.

I am so proud of all that was accomplished together for our students, teachers, staff, and school. From celebrations and events to moments of encouragement, support, and service, every effort was rooted in love for our children and our community. Watching smiles form, teachers feel appreciated, and students create memories has made every long day and late night worth it.

What I will treasure most are the relationships built along the way. I have had the privilege of serving beside some of the kindest, most generous, selfless women. Women who give quietly, love deeply, and show up time and time again for others. Together, we became more than a PTO board or committee. We became friends, encouragers, and a support system woven together through shared purpose and the lives of our children.

It reminds me of a patchwork quilt…every piece unique, every story different, yet beautifully stitched together to create something meaningful, strong, and lasting. Our lives became interconnected through this community, and I know those threads will remain long after this season ends.

Thank you to every parent, teacher, administrator, volunteer, sponsor, and friend who helped make these years so special. Thank you for trusting me, serving alongside me, and loving our school so well.

While this chapter may be ending, the love, memories, friendships, and impact will stay with me forever. Thank you Jaclyn Gaddy Pate for carrying the torch of excellence for OMIS PTO with your leadership. Once an Eagle, always an Eagle. ❤️💙🦅
